This map displays the administrative divisions of Cambodia as of 2022. Cambodia is a country located in Southern Asia, and corresponds roughly to the lower-middle course of the Mekong River, whose delta is located in southern Vietnam.
Cambodia consists of 24 provinces plus the special administrative district of the capital Phnom Penh. Phnom Penh is located at the confluence of the Mekong and of the Tonlé Sap River, a very unusual body of water that reverses its course twice a year: during the monsoon season, the Mekong flows into the Tonlé Sap and fills the lake, which then slowly flows back into the Mekong in the dry season.
